When I saw on the NEXTDOOR website an appeal for volunteers to make facemasks, I knew once again that my sewing skills would be of help no matter how small. I am so proud to be a part of it.

It has been an absolute pleasure and honour to volunteer with this group. To feel part of something bigger and make friends at the same time has been the highlight for me.

I was anxious when I first started volunteering about meeting new people and wasn't sure about Covid restrictions. But everyone has made me feel safe and welcome!
